Welcome to Camp WYOBA!

As a junior high student many “eons ago”, I attended church camp in the Black Hills of South Dakota.  That church camp was Camp Judson and was located between Hill City and Keystone.  It was after the Rapid City flood in June of 1972 and the small creek below this camp had flooded as well.  As we drove our large bus through Rapid City climbing westward to camp, I was a wide-eyed 15 year old looking at all the flood damage.  That year at camp changed my life….I am eternally grateful to the friend who invited me.  She now has ALS and I was recently able to convey to her my eternal indebtedness.  I know children and teenagers have a myriad of choices these days in which to spend their summers but, I’m here as a living proof, that the time someone can spend at camp has eternal consequences.  Please consider the impact that you could have on a child!  First pray, pray, pray.  Consider sending someone you know to camp next year.  As we reach the end of 2025, consider donating to Camp Wyoba…we have a generous donor that will match any contribution dollar for dollar up to their maximum of $10,000!
